Miso Han is an artist and graphic designer based in Toronto, Canada. Her paintings are inspired by minhwa, a traditional Korean painting style. While she follows the stylistic elements of minhwa, such as its focus on dark outlines and expressive techniques, she chooses to work with canvas, oil, and acrylic mediums instead of traditional Korean paper and watercolour. She expresses her hybrid identity through this blend of Eastern and Western materials.
